SPORTS & LIFE SKILLS

“Gold medals aren’t really made of gold. They’re made of sweat, determination, and a hard to find alloy called guts.”- Dan Gable

At KIS, life skill development through organized sports activities is an integral part of a student’s daily routine, whereby every student is encouraged to join at least one sports discipline. We believe in mass participation, exposing our students to a number of sporting events at School, inter-school/district, zonal, regional, state, national and international levels.

Being team players helps children to develop many of the social skills they will need for life. Sport helps children develop better ways to cope with the highs and lows of life. Children learn to bounce back from disappointment, cope with unpleasant experiences and become more resilient to face the uncertainties of life.
